My Friends.
Congratulations on bringing home the Most Improved award, as I said late Saturday night, I am impressed with what you accomplished given the seasons difficult beginnings and many re-writes and additions.
You have finished what I'd like to consider you're first truly competitive season. Our most detrimental flaw to focus on next season is our consistency in marching and maneuvering technique as well as our musical interpretation of dynamics, articulations, and phrasing... Basically Basics. In hopes of remedying this issue expect to begin a rigorous 2009 season with marching rehearsals in April.
Consider this the announcement that ALL flip folders are to be returned as soon as possible. Remember that flip folders were assigned and students failing to return theirs in it's entirety will be charged for its replacement.
This Friday evening I expect to see everyone for our super-awesome-banquet-soirée and subsequent lazer tag extravaganza. All monies need to be turned in, anyone still wishing to attend should see Me before the end of the day Thursday, $22 in hand.
Concert Band activity period rehearsals will begin Next Week. Listen for morning announcements...
Consider Yourself Dismissed
-Cheers!

Amen to a great season.
Congrats everyone on a great season! Being Most Improved feels amazing doesn't it. I enjoyed (most) of this season (especially the football games) and I loved all of our quality band bus time. I can't wait to be a senior in my section next year and I hope that all of you seniors had a great time too! Excellent job Mr Bob and Mr Gunnell!!!
A memo to the band members:
I would just like to say that I am sorry for being such a pain to every one this season. I now realize that I was a jerk to everyone including Mr. Gunnell. I am really sorry for most of it. I hope that next season I will have more sense and actually help you guys instead of bringing you down. I promise you that next year I will be a real drum major and not just the guy who yells and conducts every once in a while.
p.s. Congratulations on a good season. You worked really hard and we all showed that the band doesn't just suck, we actually can do anything we try to!
I agree with everyone else- Congrats to a great season. I loved being CG captain (even though we got 5 different sets of drill charts throughout various parts of the season) and can't wait until next season (my last- NoOo)! Maybe now Mr. Gunnell will talk to me and Bethany about our SENIOR PROJECT. *hint hint* Good Luck and Have Fun to concert band peoples! See you all at the next parade. ;)
