Jeez o' Man did I have a good time at the Mummers Parade in Ashland last night. Ok, well I won't lie to you, I really don't LOVE parades - but... we sounded alright, and you marched reasonably well considering we were doing it for 2 hours, not to mention the forty five minutes of standing around beforehand.
Percussion: we'll work something out for next time, but I was content to march to taps all night.
Don't forget, your uniforms are now YOUR responsibility, keep them clean and not wrinkled up and don't forget Coats, Pants, Hats, DM's, and BLACK SOCKS ABOVE THE ANKLE (which everyone has from the Winter Concert)
On a "mean band director" note - the band room is an absolute mess. trash, food, personal belonging, chairs and stands and such out of place... Unless you want to spend your time after performances on clean up duty- you better start taking care of our common space and belongings. Spread the word.

Yes. I have NO idea what A.B.A. stands for. Maybe I should look into that...
someone told me it stands for either Ashland Business Association, or Ashland Boy's Association. Personally, I don't get why they would throw a parade to celebrate either of them...
